A leading business intelligence firm based in Tel Aviv is seeking a highly professional IT Specialist for a central, high-impact role within the organization.
This is a hands-on, independent position where you will serve as the sole in-house IT authority, working closely with an external outsourced Help Desk team that handles Tier 1 issues. The role requires ownership, proactivity, and the ability to manage IT operations end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for end users, providing hands-on technical support and resolving issues across various levels, including escalation to external providers when needed.
- Technical ownership: Full responsibility for the stability and availability of office IT systems, handling complex Tier 2/3 issues and managing escalations with the outsourced Help Desk.
- Vendor management: Ongoing work with hardware, networking, and internet infrastructure providers.
- Inventory management: End-to-end ownership of IT equipment lifecycle (laptops, meeting room equipment, peripherals) – from procurement and onboarding to decommissioning.
- Infrastructure & networking: Ensure network availability, troubleshoot connectivity issues, manage Wi-Fi performance, and support meeting room connectivity and AV systems.
- Proven experience in a System Administrator, IT Support, or Help Desk role.
- Strong advantage: Previous experience as a sole IT function in an organization or working independently across multiple systems and interfaces.
- High service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and network issues in an organizational setting.
- High-level English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switches, basic firewall configuration).
- Advantage: Experience working in Azure environments, including user management, Entra ID (Azure AD), or basic cloud infrastructure.
This role is ideal for hands-on IT professionals who want to step up from a classic Help Desk role into a central, operational IT position — one that focuses on ownership, responsibility, and running the IT operation, not just closing tickets.
