Chief Financial Officer - Public Finance Company

SHVA, Israel’s leading provider of payment transaction infrastructure and financial information solutions, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive management team.

SHVA operates and develops the national payment card infrastructure in Israel, delivering advanced, secure, and high-scale technological solutions for banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions. As the payments and FinTech landscape evolves, SHVA continues to expand its services, supporting innovation, regulatory compliance, and smart management of monetary transactions across the Israeli economy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the CEO and serve as a core member of the executive management team.
• Manage a team of mid-level managers and oversee approximately 10 finance professionals.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reporting to tax authorities and the stock exchange, financial risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the company’s financial strategy, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance control processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Maintain relationships with shareholders, analysts, and investors, and present company performance to the Board of Directors.
• Lead M&A processes and support strategic decision-making at the corporate level.
• Manage cash flow, funding sources, and relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
• Supervise accounting, payroll, and procurement operations.
• Oversee company procurement strategy: negotiations with suppliers, commercial agreements, cost optimization, and support of strategic purchasing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering and Management.
• Master’s degree – an advantage.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
• At least 4 years of experience as a CFO.
• Prior experience with an Israeli public company (TASE).
• Experience in M&A processes – an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and securities regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in capital and debt fundraising, investor relations, and regulatory communications.
• Good proficiency in English (spoken and written).
