Senior Frontend Engineer

Remedio, a first-of-its-kind platform that automates and error-proofs configuration security for connected devices, is looking for a rockstar Senior Frontend Engineer who asks lots of questions, demonstrates keen attention to detail, and takes a big-picture perspective.

If you don't understand why a given component appears in a particular space or what it's meant to communicate, neither will the user!

The individual selected will be tasked with ensuring that the Remedio system is designed & developed to support a positive user experience and package product capabilities in a manner that is visually appealing and intuitively answers market needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent military work experience).
• 4+ years of proficiency in frontend engineering using React.js, TypeScript, and related libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with Tailwind, Web Sockets.
• Experience working with Git & Jira.
• Analyse and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system components
• Experience with API design
• Ability to work independently and mostly remotely
• A motivated team player with great async written English communication skills

Hiring Preferences:

• Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress / Playwright.
• Experience making UX decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Keep up-to-date on changing UX/UI best practices.
• Work with product and design partners to plan new product screens and functional modules.
• End-to-end development of frontend software components (design, development, testing, maintenance).
• Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system components
• Define API schemas that will be implemented by the backend team.
