Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer located in Raanana. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure software quality by developing and executing test plans, performing manual testing, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with the software development team to implement fixes. The role involves contributing to ongoing improvements in quality assurance processes and standards to maintain high-quality deliverables and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of product quality end-to-end
• Design, build, and maintain clear and effective QA processes (not just execute them)
• Write focused and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Perform manual testing: functional, regression, sanity, and smoke tests
• Independently identify critical flows, edge cases, and risk areas
• Work closely with developers and the Product Manager
• Log, track, and communicate bugs clearly, including full reproduction steps
• Proactively surface quality risks before release

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices
• Proficiency in Manual Testing processes and techniques
• Understanding of Software Development concepts and workflows
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Experience working in a startup or fast-changing product environment
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira / Linear / similar)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work within a team
• Experience in healthcare software systems is a plus
