We’re seeking an Integrator Engineer for an exciting and challenging position in our defence team!

This is a full-time position in Modiin

Description:

• Provide technical support for complex, software-intensive avionics systems (mission, flight control, power, and communications), including firmware and communication layers, in unmanned systems (UAS/UAV), among the most advanced of their kind worldwide.
• The Field Engineering Technician supports development teams, is responsible for laboratory management, and performs installation and programming/flashing of avionics products.
• Participates in ground and flight tests for validation and maturation of developed capabilities at integration and test sites in Israel and abroad.
• The integrator position is carried out at customer sites and requires extensive travel both in Israel and abroad.
• The Field Engineering Technician is required to work effectively in a matrix development environment, demonstrate fast learning abilities, analyze complex subjects with a broad system-level perspective, possess strong interpersonal communication skills, and work well within a team.

Requirements:

• Former technical role in Israeli Air Force squadrons – mandatory.
• Practical Engineer (Technician) degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering – mandatory.
• Familiarity with video compression standards, streaming compression, and audio (Voice over IP) – advantage.
• Familiarity with networks and communication protocols (IP communication, serial communication) – advantage.
• Experience working with standard test equipment (oscilloscope, DVM) – mandatory.
• Programming knowledge in Python is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Embedded / Real-Time systems – advantage.
• Familiarity with RF (radio frequency) communication is an advantage.
• Familiarity with open-source platforms (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) – advantage.
