Engineering Manager, Platform Ecosystems

Accountabilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a geographically distributed engineering team, supporting career development and growth.
• Act as a player-coach by contributing to coding, reviewing pull requests, and delivering at a senior engineer level.
• Drive the team toward high productivity, technical reliability, and simplicity, reinforcing a culture of shipping and accountability.
• Collaborate with product management to define engineering priorities, roadmap, and strategy.
• Build tools, reference implementations, and best practices to support platform developers and users.
• Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing engineers while promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Ensure the team delivers high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions in a rapidly evolving technical environment.
  
  

Requirements

• 1+ year of people management experience in a high-growth startup or technical organization.
• Hands-on software engineering experience; full-stack expertise is a plus.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Go, with experience building scalable applications.
• Experience managing and mentoring junior and senior engineers in distributed teams.
• Demonstrated interest or participation in the crypto/web3 ecosystem is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and align teams.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, innovative, and evolving technical environments.
• Experience recruiting and building high-performing technical teams.
