We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Sheba’s data revolution and take part in shaping the future of healthcare through data.

About the Role:

This role focuses on data science activities including data extraction, management, cleansing, exploration, and transformation, as well as advanced data analysis, evaluation, and presentation of results.

You will generate meaningful insights in fields such as medicine, genetics, epidemiology, biotechnology, and public health, leveraging AI tools and advanced analytical methods.

The position involves deep familiarity with hospital data, strong understanding of medical research (with emphasis on retrospective and prospective population studies), and translating data into actionable insights for both research and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

·Data extraction, processing, and quality improvement

·Exploratory data analysis and data transformations

·Applying AI and advanced analytics methodologies

·Analyzing and interpreting complex medical datasets

·Presenting results and insights to stakeholders

·Supporting research and data-driven decision-making

·Working in a multi-project, fast-paced environment

·Ongoing reporting on project status, risks, and solutions

Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a relevant field: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent

·At least 3 years of experience in data analysis / data science

·Strong programming skills in Python and SQL

·Solid understanding of the data ecosystem, technologies, processes, and methodologies

·Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

·Fluent in Hebrew and English

·High analytical and problem-solving abilities

·Strong decision-making skills

·Excellent time management and organizational skills

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
