Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Job Overview

Tevel Aerobotics is a leading agriculture robotics company developing a fleet of autonomous flying robots designed for fruit harvesting.

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a complex, multidisciplinary product combining software, hardware, robotics, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system integration and end-to-end testing of the company’s core product.
• Execute tests in both indoor lab environments and outdoor field conditions.
• Investigate software and hardware failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Design and maintain detailed, structured test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
• Perform comprehensive regression testing after fixes and system updates.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, system engineers, and field operators.
• Provide clear testing status updates and reports to the QA Manager.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance — Must
• Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary product environment (SW/HW/Systems) — Must
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) — Must
• Strong ability to investigate complex issues and perform root cause analysis
• Experience in gathering requirements and writing specifications, test plans, and test documentation
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and work independently
• Availability for domestic and international travel

Advantages

• Knowledge of Agile QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Understanding of the hardware/software development lifecycle
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in drone operations — a major advantage
• Quality engineering experience in an electronics/embedded environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
