A leading defense company is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Mechanical design of complex systems, including electro-optical and opto-mechanical systems

• Design of precision drive systems and electronic packaging

• Working with SolidWorks and preparing detailed drawings according to tolerances

• Creating BOMs and managing engineering documentation in PLM systems

• Design of complex fixtures for integrated systems

• Close collaboration with R&D, integration, and manufacturing teams

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required (M.Sc. is an advantage)

• Background in mechanical design and mechanisms (academic or hands-on experience is an advantage)

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, casting, sheet metal

• Experience with opto-mechanics – an advantage

• SolidWorks proficiency – required; PLM experience – an advantage

• High motivation and strong learning abilities
