Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The PODS (Print on Demand Solutions) group develops digital color servers (aka DFE –

Digital Front End) for the digital printing industry, which combines complex software and

hardware architecture. We are looking for candidates with a technical background and

strong attention to details that will be part of the QA team and will be able to work with

development, application and product teams to design tests, run tests and improve

product quality.

Expected Contributions:

 Design comprehensive test cases for manual scenarios and detailed test descriptions

covering both manual scenarios and automated flows

 Ensure full coverage of system requirements, focusing on DFE workflows

 Execute testing cycles (Sanity, Regression, Functional) to validate system stability

 Identify, investigate, and document software defects in the bug tracking system

 Execute automated test scripts, maintain and expand test automation coverage

 Generate reports, provide visibility into product stability, risk areas, and test coverage

status

Experience Required

 At least 5 years of experience in Hands-on testing and test design

 Knowledge and experience in quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

 Understanding complex systems

 At least 2 years of Hands-on experience with Test Automation tools

 Familiar with PC applications

 Familiar with Mac applications – an advantage

 Experience in graphic arts, digital printing workflows and DFE technologies - an

advantage

 Experience with AI driven testing methodologies and tools - an advantage

Education Required

 Courses in testing methodology

 Practical Engineer in Computer Science or Exact Sciences
