Software Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Team Leader to lead the design, development, and evolution of complex, scalable web platforms and cloud-based solutions.

In this role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, architecture ownership, and close collaboration with product and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence while building and mentoring a strong engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead the design and development of fullstack applications using PHP, Angular, NestJS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems running on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Ensure high-quality code through reviews, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of fullstack developers.
• Own technical planning, sprint execution, and delivery timelines.
• Balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities.
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Product Impact

• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Influence product roadmap and technical strategy.
• Align technical decisions with long-term business and platform goals.

Core Technologies

• Backend: PHP, NestJS (Node.js framework)
• Frontend: Angular, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Databases & Queries: SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL), complex queries and data modeling
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.)
• APIs & Architecture: RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture
• DevOps & Tools: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes (advantage), Git

Requirements

Must Have

• 6+ years of experience in fullstack development with strong expertise in PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience with Angular and backend frameworks such as NestJS.
• Strong experience designing APIs, backend services, and database queries.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating systems on Azure.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale SaaS or enterprise systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
• Familiarity with security, performance optimization, and scalability challenges.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
