FullStack Developer Lead

A fast-growing online sweepstakes gaming platform is redefining player engagement through innovative monetization features such as Quests, Daily Missions, Tournaments, and Coin-Back rewards all designed to keep players excited and coming back for more.

Responsibilities

✔ Guide and inspire the team to deliver high-impact features, using React and Node.js to build seamless and visually engaging gaming experiences
✔ Set and uphold rigorous engineering standards and best practices
✔ Drive execution excellence by delivering high-quality, scalable features
✔ Conduct thorough testing of all developments to ensure reliability and performance
✔ Collaborate closely with QA to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
✔ Work cross-functionally with Data, Design, and Product teams to develop and refine user interfaces, animations, and interactive features, ensuring a cohesive and immersive user experience

✔ Technical Expertise: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with strong proficiency in React and Node.js
✔ Team Leadership: At least 2 years in an engineering leadership role, with proven ability to mentor, set high standards, and collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Design, Data, Engineering)
✔ Database Experience: Strong experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis
✔ Cloud Experience: Proficient in managing services across AWS and/or GCP
✔ Startup Mentality: Resilient, proactive, and driven with a strong work ethic

Advantages:

✔ Extensive experience building applications using TypeScript and Nest.js
✔ Familiarity with messaging protocols for asynchronous communication between services
✔ Background in the gaming industry or significant experience managing high-scale B2C platforms
