AI Engineer

A startup operating in the AI-powered Enterprise Application Development space, developing an innovative platform for building AI-driven enterprise applications.

Based in Tel Aviv, near the train line, with a hybrid work model allowing one day per week from home.

The company has completed a Seed round backed by a leading venture capital fund.

Role overview:

• Part of a small and highly impactful team of two engineers, reporting directly to the CTO
• Backend and Platform Engineering role for an AI-driven system built on Generative AI, Multi-Agent Workflows, and LLM-based automation
• Full ownership of architecture, development, and deployment of Python-based microservices
• Design and implementation of infrastructure for AI agents
• Planning and implementation of RAG pipelines, function calling, and tool-chaining
• Ownership of AI/ML pipelines from development through production
• Hands-on work with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps environments
• Responsibility for production stability, scalability, reliability, and security

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Backend and/or Machine Learning development
• Strong hands-on experience developing in Python
• Proven experience working with FastAPI, Flask, and/or Django
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating LLM-based solutions
