Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Strong Middle Python Developer located in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Python Developer will collaborate closely with the engineering team to design, implement, and maintain back-end systems and applications. Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, building robust backend architecture, managing databases, and ensuring software quality through testing and debugging. The role also involves contributing to innovative projects and providing solutions that enhance the functionality and scalability of our platforms.

Qualifications

● Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications.

● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

● Optimize application performance and scalability.

● Conduct code reviews.

● Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing systems.

● Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment

Required Skills and Experience:

● 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.

● Strong proficiency in the Django web framework or any other similar framework.

● Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL.

● Solid understanding of Redis for caching and session management.

● Proficiency in Jinja2 templating engine.

● JavaScript experience for front-end development.

● Experience working with AWS or any other cloud services.

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

● Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Additional Requirements:

● Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

● Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation

● Experience with automated testing.

Optional Skills:

● Experience with Mithril.js or any other library/framework (Vue/React/Angular/Svelte).

● Knowledge of Twilio API for communication services.

● Familiarity with PayPal / Stripe integration for payment processing.

● Familiarity with Docker, or other containerization/orchestration technologies.

● Experience with GitHub Actions, or any other continuous / deployment tool.
