Senior System Administrator

We’re Hiring for our client: Senior system administrator

We are looking for a skilled Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic team. If you have extensive experience in system administration, deep knowledge of VMware, hands-on expertise with AWS cloud, strong understanding of Azure services, familiarity with security tools, basic networking knowledge, and strong teamwork skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

-Design, deploy, and manage large-scale system architectures across diverse environments, including on-prem servers, corporate systems, and cloud workloads.

Operate, manage, and upgrade complex virtualization environments based on VMware and KVM (Proxmox).

-Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and directory synchronization, as well as enterprise MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and MobileIron/IVANTI.

-Design and implementation: Architect and build cloud infrastructure and services using a variety of AWS & Azure offerings.

-Management and maintenance: Maintain and optimize cloud workloads for performance, uptime, and cost.

-Ensure system security, compliance, and operational best practices across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

-Drive a heavy automation bias into your solution portfolio. Ensure that the automation you develop, deploy and support is scalable, reliable and well-documented.

-Automate system configuration, monitoring, alerting, and maintenance processes.

-Collaborate with DevOps, R&D, and Security teams to maintain, expand, and ensure the reliability of the infrastructure for product development.

-Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation

Requirements:

-6+ years of proven experience as a Sys Admin in global hi-tech companies.

-Proven experience in VMware/Nutanix/KVM is a must.

-Proven hands-on experience with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity lifecycle management, SSO integrations, MFA, Conditional Access, and directory synchronization (Azure AD Connect).

-Linux system administration experience.

-Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar)

-Ability to work under pressure with mission-critical systems.

-Familiarity with FortiGate Firewall, VPNs, switches, WiFi , NAC, ZTNA.

-Experience managing enterprise MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and MobileIron/IVANTI, including device and application management, OS update management, and endpoint security.

-Hands-on experience with enterprise backup solutions, including Commvault Metallic for cloud workloads and Veeam/Commvault for on-prem infrastructure.

-Business proficiency in written and spoken English.

Advantages:

-Relevant certifications (e.g. , AWS/Azure Architect, RHCE, CCNA, MSCA).

-Advanced networking knowledge: routers, switches, and VPN configuration.

-Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies

-Experience with high-scale networking environments or telco/cloud infrastructure
