We’re Hiring: a Software QA Engineer to join a team working on advanced algorithmic and web-based systems, with a focus on testing ballistic calculations based in Yokneam, full-time (on-site).
Responsibilities
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
- Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes
- Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client and system requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to define and validate system requirements
- Monitor and analyze debugging results and system behavior
- Test ballistic calculations and algorithmic software components
- Perform testing of ballistic software applications and algorithms
- Strong technical understanding and technical background – Must
- Good English communication skills – Must
- Full-stack knowledge – Must
- Solid understanding of web architecture – Must
- High-level mathematics and physics background (5 units) – Must
- Practical software engineering experience -Advantage
- Background or experience in Artillery / ballistic systems -Advantage
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence -Advantage
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Fast learner with the ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
