Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer (Full-time) at Sky Sapience 🚀

If you’re a hands-on mechanical designer with 4–5 years of experience and you enjoy building flight-ready hardware in a small, fast-moving team — we’d love to meet you.

What you’ll do

• Mechanical design with a strong aeronautical focus (advantage)

• Complex assemblies and end-to-end ownership (concept → detailed design → build → test)

• Electro-mechanical design & integration with electronics and software teams

• Plastics (injection/3D printing), metals, machining, and manufacturing considerations (DFM/DFA)

Must-have

• 4–5 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer

• Strong experience with SOLIDWORKS (required)

• Proven experience designing complex assemblies/mechanisms

• Strong electro-mechanical integration background

• Solid understanding of materials & manufacturing

Nice to have

• UAV/aeronautical background

• Design-oriented mindset (a plus)

• Hands-on capability (builds, assembly, testing, troubleshooting)

• Hands-on experience with PDM systems & familiarity with Priority ERP (significant advantage)
