About the Role

We are looking for a strong, motivated and highly technical Frontend R&D Team Leader. This Leader will own a Web client platform, lead development of Infrastructure components, and work with application teams that develop features on that platform. This Client enables customers to use Check Point’s services over the web and support the growth of Check Point’s activity on the cloud.

Major Responsibilities

• Guide the design and development of front-end infrastructure components, including shared libraries and a unified design system.
• Collaborate closely with product and feature teams, serving as a technical reference point and ensuring high-quality front-end practices across the organization.
• Partner with technical leadership to shape architecture decisions, evolve the technology stack, and enhance the developer experience.
• Oversee CI/CD processes for front-end delivery, continually improving efficiency, reliability, and deployment cycles.
• Build and support a high-performing team, encouraging innovation, technical ownership, and strong cross-team collaboration.

Desired Background

Should have:

• Deep knowledge in SW engineering, preferably a degree.
• At least 8 years of experience developing complex web platforms.
• At least 4 years of R&D team leadership
• At least 4 years of experience in React and NodeJS.
• Wide perspective of technologies and architecture
• Experience with launching and maintaining web systems with agile methodology, and busy CI/CD pipelines.
• Passionate leader that people follow, strong drive, execution capabilities, problem-solver with a methodical approach.
• Team player with excellent mentoring and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• Full stack experience
• Knowledge/experience in Cyber Security and Checkpoint products
• Experience with containers, packaging, basic Linux
