Chief Technical Manager

We are looking for a Chief Technical Manager to join the Defense Systems Plant within IAI’s MBT Division.

The position includes:

• Defining, controlling development, and managing hardware deliveries, including electrical and mechanical interfaces with ship systems (ICD documents), working with matrix teams and customers

• Professional leadership of ICD support teams within the Engineering & Systems Plant

• Consolidating and managing technical requirements with subcontractors

• Field engineering – providing advanced engineering support to customers for complex system malfunctions

• Supporting knowledge transfer processes and hardware production for customer countries

• Planning and scheduling installation, testing, and integration activities with customers, including defining work plans

• Engineering leadership and coordination of naval and land-based laboratories in IAI and in customer countries, including performance optimization, reliability improvement, and enhancement of testability in existing labs

What we’re looking for:

• BSc in Systems Engineering / Software Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electro-Optics / Aeronautical Engineering – mandatory

• MSc in Systems Engineering – advantage

• At least 5 years of experience in technical management, hardware maintenance and development, and multidisciplinary system integrations – mandatory

• Engineering background in weapon systems / C4I systems – mandatory

• Proven experience in direct team management and matrix environments – mandatory

• High level of English proficiency – mandatory

• Familiarity with IAI structure and procedures – significant advantage

• Experience with airborne systems / air defense systems – advantage
