Assistant Financial Controller

A fantastic career opportunity for a Big 4 alumnus to join a leading public Company as a Subsidiaries Controller.

Role Overview

Full responsibility for the financial management, controls, and reporting of several subsidiaries within the group. This includes month-end close, reporting to the parent company, oversight of financial processes, and implementation of IFRS standards. The role involves ongoing interaction with subsidiary management and support in preparing the group’s consolidated financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

· End-to-end monthly and quarterly financial close

· Preparation of reporting packages for the parent company

· Support in managing cash flow for group headquarters

· Oversight and control of vendor payments

· Balance sheet reconciliations, control testing, profitability analysis, and variance analysis

· Handling inventory, deferred taxes, and implementation of IFRS standards, with emphasis on IFRS 16

· Working closely with external auditors during annual audits and periodic reviews

· Supporting subsidiary management in financial and operational matters

· Improving internal processes and strengthening internal controls

Requirements

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

· Big 4 graduate, with two years of post-internship experience

· At least one prior role as Controller or Assistant Controller

· Experience in an industrial/manufacturing company – significant advantage

· High proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with multiple interfaces
