Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager

A global technology organization is seeking a senior Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager to lead its engineering function in Israel, with end-to-end responsibility across NPI, integration, and automated test systems in a global manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of R&D, test, and serial production, with direct ownership of defining, deploying, and scaling test lines at subcontractors and production sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering organization in Israel (direct & indirect)
• Own NPI activities, including engineering documentation and ECO/ECR processes
• Define and implement global engineering methodologies
• Establish and lead integration and test infrastructure
• Specify, build, and deploy automated test systems (ATE): hardware, software, and test equipment
• Standardize and replicate test lines across subcontractors and global sites
• Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and global leadership
• Interface directly with senior management and R&D leadership
• Collaborate with global subcontractors and manufacturing partners

Mandatory Requirements

• University degree in Engineering – mandatory
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a global organization
• Strong hands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE)
• Proven background defining and deploying test lines at subcontractors
• Broad technical understanding across hardware, software, and test systems
• Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality
• Excellent English (written and verbal)
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally
