HR Specialist (Temporary – Maternity Leave Cover)

Location: Hybrid work model – two days a week at our Airport City offices (Monday & Wednesday), and the rest from home

Willingness to travel to our Haifa site once a month is required

Unilever Israel is looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting HR operations and employee experience during a maternity leave period. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to impactful HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll & Attendance:
• Oversee attendance management processes
• Supervise attendance coordinator’s work
• Validate updates, prepare data for payroll, and respond to employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with collective agreements
• Employee Lifecycle:
• Manage offboarding processes, including final settlements and social security claims
• Handle onboarding processes for new employees
• Welfare & Engagement:
• Execute the company’s welfare program
• Training & Development:
• Coordinate training programs, liaise with internal stakeholders and external trainers
• Track attendance and update HR systems
• HR Projects & Organizational Development:
• Lead various HR projects
• Partner in organizational development initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Specialist (preferably in manufacturing companies)
• Solid knowledge of labor laws
• Strong English proficiency
• Experience with payroll systems (Hilan, Hilanet)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel – advanced level, PowerPoint)
• High learning agility and willingness for independent learning
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and responsible
• Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
