Loops Lab is growing, and we’re looking for a QA Engineer / QA Specialist to join our fast-paced product and engineering team. If you're passionate about product quality and music, love digging into details, and want to influence real users daily — this role is for you.

What we are looking for: As a QA Engineer at Loops Lab, you’ll ensure our features, algorithms, and experiences are delivered at the highest level. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers in a dynamic environment where things move fast and quality truly matters.

What you will do:

• Perform end-to-end testing of new features, from early development to production
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and hidden issues
• Test firmware behavior, BLE connectivity, WiFi functionality, and system stability
• Validate musicality: timing, groove feel, audio quality, playback correctness, and stage lights timing and functionality
• Perform hardware QA on stages, figurines, sensors, audio paths, and mechanical components
• Write detailed Test Plans, Test Cases, and user scenarios
• Define Acceptance Criteria with Product & Engineering
• Manage bugs in Jira, including prioritization based on severity & user impact
• Execute regression and release validation tests
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, Product, and Customer Service
• Improve QA workflows and advocate for quality across teams
• (Advantage) Develop automated tests (UI/API) using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, etc.
• (Advantage) Support performance and load testing

Must Haves:

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing (manual or mixed)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to spot edge cases
• Experience with Agile workflows and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• High-level English — spoken and written
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and documentation skills
• Experience with Audio tech or Music gear / a background in music production

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with automation testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL, API testing, Networking
• Ability to read logs and use debugging tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
