Frontend Developer

Location: Karmiel (North Israel) – On-site at the office

A leading defense-technology company in the North is looking for a passionate React Frontend Developer to join its software development teams.

In this role, you will take part in developing core defense solutions, participate in all product development stages, and work with cutting-edge technologies that directly contribute to national security. The position includes development of innovative software systems for various defense projects in the Karmiel area and requires working on-site at the company’s offices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, scalable React-based frontend applications.
• Take part in end-to-end product development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and UX/UI teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in system integrations, demos, and experiments (including with end users in the field, when required).
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of web applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development using React – must.
• Solid experience with TypeScript – must.
• 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, including layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux) – advantage.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.
• Experience with CesiumJS – advantage.
• Experience working with design tools such as Zeplin, Figma, etc.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Micro Frontend architectures – advantage.
• Strong team player, with very good communication skills and a “can-do” mentality.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at the Karmiel office on a regular basis.
