Quality Assurance Engineer

Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a QA Engineer for a leading organization in Northern Israel

Role Description:

Plan and execute system-level testing for complex, multidisciplinary systems composed of multiple subsystems.

Analyze system requirements, write test plans and test specifications, conduct test reviews, and perform testing in system laboratories.

Analyze test results, report defects, and verify fixes.

Participate in system integrations in lab environments and perform on-site testing at external locations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma plus completion of a QA / testing course (military or civilian) – mandatory
• Technician / Engineer degree in Software, Electronics, Aerodynamics, Biomedical Engineering, or a relevant Bachelor’s degree – significant advantage
• Degree in Information Systems or candidates with an academic background who transitioned to automation – advantage
• ISTQB certification – advantage
• Strong system-level understanding of complex systems
• Logical and analytical thinking with the ability to identify system-level failures, root causes, and overall impact
• Proven ability to analyze requirements and write detailed test specifications
