Reporting Line: Dual reporting to Israel Site Manager (Solid line) & Senior Director of Global HR, USA (Dotted line).
MESH Executive Solutions is proud to partner with a leading global American manufacturing company in recruiting a high-caliber HR Business Partner for its Israeli site.
We are seeking a proactive, autonomous, and strategic leader who will serve as the primary HR Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Israel location.
In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between local operations and global strategy, ensuring that people initiatives drive business results while maintaining the unique cultural dynamics of the Israeli market.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an HR professional who will thrive on independence. Due to time zone differences, you must possess the confidence to own the HR strategy locally, provide professional "push-back" to leadership when necessary, and act as a trusted advisor to the Global HR team on all Israel-specific matters.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with the Israel site leadership to align talent strategies with business priorities and organizational effectiveness.
· Local SME & Advisory: Act as the local expert on Israeli labor laws, market trends, and cultural nuances, providing actionable recommendations to the U.S. corporate HR team.
· Autonomous Leadership: Own and deploy HR processes at the site level, including Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Performance Management, with minimal day-to-day supervision.
· Employee Relations & Advocacy: Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations, and build strong relationships across all levels—from the production floor to executive leadership.
· Talent & Succession: Drive workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of talent and effective leadership development.
· Organizational Impact: Analyze HR metrics and engagement survey results to develop solutions that improve morale, productivity, and retention.
· Global Collaboration: Maintain frequent touchpoints with U.S. stakeholders, ensuring local initiatives reflect global standards while remaining fit-for-purpose in Israel.
· Budget Ownership: Manage local budgets for training, welfare, and external service providers.
Requirements
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior HRBP or HR Lead role, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Autonomous Mindset: Proven ability to work independently in a global matrix organization with a high degree of accountability.
· Professional Presence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the "backbone" to counsel and challenge senior site managers.
· Core Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Israeli labor laws, C&B practices, and performance management.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree (MHRM/MBA) is a significant advantage.
· Languages: Fluent English (written and verbal) is mandatory for ongoing collaboration with U.S. counterparts.
· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities and a data-driven approach to HR.
