Power Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics & Power Supply Development Engineer to join a leading defense company in Central Israel.

Role Responsibilities

• Detailed design and development of power supplies for airborne systems
• Development of motor drive control for electric motor power delivery
• Design and implementation of power electronics circuits in all their aspects
• Design of analog electronics circuits
• Participation in system-level architecture and integration activities
• Support laboratory bring-up, testing, and validation processes

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory
• At least 8 years of experience in power supply and power electronics development
• Strong hands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
• Proven experience with analog design and simulation tools, such as OrCAD, PSpice, Mentor Graphics or equivalent
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team

• Experience in space-grade electronics and radiation-hardened design
• System-level architecture design experience
• Knowledge and experience in power distribution, grounding, and power tree design at system level
