We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics & Power Supply Development Engineer to join a leading defense company in Central Israel.
Role Responsibilities
- Detailed design and development of power supplies for airborne systems
- Development of motor drive control for electric motor power delivery
- Design and implementation of power electronics circuits in all their aspects
- Design of analog electronics circuits
- Participation in system-level architecture and integration activities
- Support laboratory bring-up, testing, and validation processes
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory
- At least 8 years of experience in power supply and power electronics development
- Strong hands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Proven experience with analog design and simulation tools, such as OrCAD, PSpice, Mentor Graphics or equivalent
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team
Advantages
- Extensive experience in isolated power supply design using various topologies (Flyback, Forward, Half/Full Bridge, etc.)
- Experience in space-grade electronics and radiation-hardened design
- System-level architecture design experience
- Knowledge and experience in power distribution, grounding, and power tree design at system level
