R&D Manager

Role Overview

As Research and Development Manager at King Entertainment, you will lead the technical strategy and execution for our social casino platform, with a strong focus on efficiently reskinning and integrating games. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering operations, managing integrations with external game providers, and ensuring that our platform remains stable, scalable, and compliant. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem.

Location: Kiryat Ono, Tel Aviv, Isreal

On site: work from the office Monday to Thursday. Work remotely on Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on technical expertise
• Oversee the game reskinning pipeline, ensuring efficient processes, quality delivery, and smooth integration of new titles.
• Manage engineering, QA, and technical teams.
• Maintain and optimize platform infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and high performance across web and mobile.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Support the Product team in translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the US and other markets.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in social gaming, iGaming, and mobile development.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the technology organization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior engineering or technology leadership role within gaming, social casino, or related digital industries.
• Strong understanding of game integration workflows (APIs, SDKs, HTML5, Unity, mobile platforms).
• Experience managing technical teams, with the ability to lead both in-house and remote developers.
• Track record of delivering high-quality gaming or entertainment products in fast-paced environments.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business needs.
• High-level business English proficiency.
