Research Engineer

BYO Inc. is building a no-code, sovereign LLM platform to democratize intelligence.

We’re looking for a Senior Research Engineer with deep experience in LLM training to take ownership of designing, building, and deploying production-grade LLM systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and deploy LLM-based systems end to end.
• Build and optimize training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
• Translate product and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction through hands-on work.
• Stay current with advances in LLMs and apply them in production.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in ML/AI, with strong hands-on LLM experience.
• Deep knowledge of PyTorch, Transformers, Hugging Face, Weights & Biases.
• Proven experience shipping LLM systems to production.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.

Senior individual contributor role. No people management.
