Information Technology Team Lead

StoreNext, A leading technology solutions provider serving major enterprises is seeking an experienced IT Team Leader for a full-time position. This role involves managing and operating the company’s IT infrastructure while leading a team of four engineers, with approximately 70% hands-on work. The position includes overseeing mission-critical production environments that require high availability, driving operational excellence, and advancing technological innovation across on-prem and cloud infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four IT/System engineers, fostering operational excellence and technical innovation.
• Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructures based on VMware and Hyper-V.
• Oversee storage systems and two active data-center facilities.
• Manage networking environments, backup systems, and update distribution platforms.
• Operate and maintain Microsoft-based environments, including Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, and related services.
• Lead cross-organizational infrastructure projects across both on-prem server environments and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Develop, manage, and execute infrastructure upgrade and maintenance work plans.
• Ensure stability, performance, and high availability in production environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven experience managing and leading IT teams.
• Full proficiency with Microsoft cloud-based environments: SharePoint, O365, Teams.
• Strong knowledge of networking and communication equipment.
• Experience with maintenance and operations of Check Point and Fortigate firewalls.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions: EDR, DLP, EPM, NAC.
• Broad expertise in system administration including Hyper-V, VMware, F5 XC + BIG-IP, and storage platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Servers: installation, upgrades, maintenance, and security.
• Experience with Linux servers (advantage): installation, upgrades, maintenance, and security.
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
• Personal Skills: Strong leadership, professionalism, high service orientation, rapid learning ability, multitasking capability, adaptability, and initiative in implementing changes.
