Group Financial Controller

Real Estate Development Group is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join its executive finance team.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Controller will lead all accounting and financial reporting activities across the organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. This role will play a key part in preparing the group for a future IPO and will act as a senior advisor on financial policy, capital markets, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidated financial reporting, analysis, and control processes

• Oversee accounting policies, procedures, and compliance with IFRS

• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions

• Drive financial readiness for an IPO, including external reporting and disclosure preparation

• Support fundraising, credit rating, and capital allocation processes

• Provide leadership and guidance to finance managers within subsidiaries

• Implement and monitor internal controls across the group

Requirements

• CPA with at least 4 years of experience as a Group or Corporate Controller in a multi-entity organization

• Proven experience in consolidated reporting under IFRS

• Proven experience in IPO preparation and work with publicly traded companies - mandatory.

• Background in real estate and/or infrastructure – strong advantage

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Priority - mandatory)

• Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional management skills

• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
