Hands on BI Team Lead

We are seeking a hands-on BI Team Lead who will actively code and develop while leading the team. This is a fully hands-on technical leadership role where you'll personally develop major system components alongside managing 2 BI developers. You'll be coding daily while guiding your team through complex BI projects for enterprise clients.

• Hands-on Development: Personally code and develop complete system modules (like targets management platform) while leading the team
• Technical Architecture: Design data models, ETL processes, and system architecture - then implement them yourself
• Active Coding: Write SQL queries, build Power BI dashboards, develop ETL pipelines alongside your development responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Mentor 2 BI developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
• Client Interaction: Present technical solutions and gather requirements while maintaining active development role

• 3+ years of hands-on BI development experience with daily coding in SQL Server, Power BI/Tableau, and ETL development
• Active developer mindset - you must love coding and want to continue developing personally, not just manage
• Proven team leadership experience managing technical teams while maintaining your own development responsibilities
• Advanced SQL Server & Data Warehouse expertise including database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Power BI/Tableau mastery with ability to create complex dashboards, advanced visualizations, and user-friendly interfaces
• ETL Development proficiency with experience in data transformation, integration processes, and automated data pipelines
• Strong client-facing skills with ability to gather requirements, present technical solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience with hands-on experience in sprint planning and iterative development
• Business acumen with understanding of sales metrics, KPIs, financial reporting, and business intelligence concepts
• Hebrew & English proficiency for documentation, communication, and training delivery
