We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Development Manager to lead and guide our development teams working across .NET and COBOL on VMS environments. This is a hands-on leadership role involving active participation in .NET development, as well as full responsibility for the design, development, and maintenance of both core and digital systems. The ideal candidate will drive technological excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary development teams across diverse technologies.
• Oversee planning, development, integration, and maintenance of core and digital systems.
• Take an active hands-on role in development, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
• Develop methodologies and tools to improve quality and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
• Promote technological innovation and adoption of advanced solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Full-Stack Software Development – mandatory.
• Proven experience managing development teams in .NET environments – mandatory.
• Significant experience with COBOL / VMS-based core systems – strong advantage.
• Strong leadership and technological vision, with a broad system-level perspective.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and manage complex interfaces.
• Proven hands-on development experience – mandatory.
• Familiarity with Web technologies:
• JavaScript – mandatory
• React – advantage
• Umbraco – advantage
