Frontend Team Leader

Innovative startup in the gaming industry, specializing in managing online social games for the U.S. market.

Located in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model, the company employs 160 people, including 80 in Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Lead frontend development across existing and new products
• Modernize the current stack (including legacy jQuery/Bootstrap) while delivering real business value
• Drive architecture, performance, and UI/UX improvements
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of frontend developers over time
• Own the quality of all team outputs — from technology to processes

Tech Stack:

TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Next.js, React.js / Svelte.js, Webpack / Vite, Tailwind CSS, PWA, mobile app packaging, REST APIs & WebSocket integrations, GitHub + CI/CD workflows

Requirements:

• 3 years of frontend development experience, ideally in high-traffic web environments
• Mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and deep experience with frameworks like React/Next.js
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time UIs
• Prior experience in a tech lead or team lead role
• Comfortable navigating and improving legacy systems
• Strong sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
• Experience in the gaming or casino industry is a bonus, but not required
