Linux Infrastructure Specialist

A leading financial organization in the central region is seeking a skilled Linux Infrastructure Specialist to join its core infrastructure team.

This role combines automation engineering, Linux system administration, and operational ownership of critical production environments.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Linux and Automation Engineer to join our infrastructure team.

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for developing, maintaining, and leading automation processes across the organization, as well as managing critical Linux systems and supporting day-to-day operations of the Kubernetes (K8s) infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation processes for IT, development, and infrastructure teams
• Write scripts (Bash, Python, or other languages) to streamline workflows and improve response times
• Manage and maintain Linux servers across Production, QA, and Development environments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance for mission-critical systems
• Support and operate Kubernetes infrastructure (K8s)

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Linux operating systems (RHEL / Ubuntu / CentOS)
• Practical experience with Microsoft server operating systems
• Scripting experience (Bash required; Python – significant advantage)
• Knowledge and experience in system-level troubleshooting and OS-level problem resolution
• Understanding of networking, storage, and general IT infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership
