Payments Operations Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payments Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our payments ecosystem. You will be responsible for reconciling transactions, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to optimize the payment flow across multiple providers and platforms.

This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, operational execution, and problem-solving capabilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payments operations—preferably in the online gaming, fintech, or e-commerce sectors—and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly payment reconciliations across multiple payment service providers and financial systems.
• Monitor payment flows and ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time.
• Track and analyze key payment performance indicators, including approval ratios, settlement delays, chargebacks, and fraud trends.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or anomalies in payment data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, Product, and Customer Support to resolve payment-related issues.
• Support the implementation and optimization of payment tools, dashboards, and reporting processes.
• Liaise with external payment partners to manage escalations, technical issues, and service improvements.
• Contribute to process automation, workflow documentation, and the continuous improvement of payment operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payments operations, reconciliation, or transaction monitoring.
• Proven experience with risk prevention, including fraud and abuse detection.
• Prior experience in online gaming, fintech, or e-commerce industries preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to detect patterns and trends in large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions required); knowledge of SQL is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; comfortable working with both internal teams and external vendors.
• High attention to detail, strong accountability, and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
