Frontend Team Lead

Antelope Systems is seeking a passionate and experienced Frontend Team Lead to provide both technical and people leadership to our dynamic development team. In this role, you will significantly influence the frontend strategy, development processes, and the professional growth of team members, while serving as a senior, highly productive developer.

As a Team Lead, your responsibilities will focus on Leadership, Hands-on Development, and Management:

• Lead the team's execution and workflow, including task prioritization and assignment and estimation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with product goals.
• Mentor, coach, and support the professional growth of frontend developers within the team (e.g., skill development, professional paths).
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and high-quality code review processes across the team.
• Serve as the central technical point of contact for Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and other cross-functional Team Leads (Backend, DevOps).

• Drive and define the core frontend architecture, making critical decisions and ensuring the delivery of highly scalable, secure, and performant solutions.
• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions using Angular, with comprehensive expertise ranging from AngularJS to the latest Angular 19 (expected 60-70% hands-on coding).
• Act as the highest escalation point for complex technical challenges, guiding the team to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration and overall system optimization.
• Own the technical roadmap for the frontend domain, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing comprehensive frontend applications for web-based products.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a leadership or mentorship role (e.g., Tech Lead or Senior Mentor), including project leadership, code quality enforcement, and team guidance.
• Expert and deep understanding of Angular (experience with AngularJS through Angular 19), including ability for architectural planning and migrations/upgrades.
• Solid experience in System Design and Frontend Architecture (e.g., Micro Frontends, State Management, Performance Optimization).
• Strong technical understanding of working within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and basic SQL skills for integration and debugging purposes.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining Design Systems or Component Libraries.
• Familiarity or experience with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate (Full Stack mindset).
