About The Role

We are seeking a passionate full-stack team lead to manage one of our engineering teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a squad that works across the stack, based in multiple locations, to deliver key outcomes. You will lead integration work with other global engineering teams, and collaborate closely with product managers, BI, QA, TPMs, and other functions. You will be reporting to the store-of-value products group engineering manager.

Our team builds new products from 0 to 1 and beyond, taking innovative ideas from concept through launch and scaling. You'll work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where you can influence product direction, shape technical architecture, and see your work make a direct impact on customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of skilled software engineers building complex flows and business logic across the stack, and own their growth.
• Take responsibility over a widely used product, running initiatives from planning, execution, and monitoring in production, and continuously improve the process, in order to create value for our customers.
• Define and track the KPIs of the team.
• Work closely with different stakeholders, such as product managers, BI, QA.
• Drive and maintain high engineering standards, for execution, code quality, and customer satisfaction.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack experience in building production-grade products
• 3+ years of experience leading software development teams
• Experience leading teams spread across multiple geographies
• Deep knowledge of Typescript
• Hands-on experience with React and/or React Native
• Hands-on experience and acquired best practices building backend architecture for large-scale systems in production
• Hands-on experience with cloud services
• Hands-on experience working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL)
• BSc. in computer science/software engineering from a high-end university or comparable experience
• People person - being able to lead a team of engineers and mentor them to grow and fulfill their career goals
• Proactive mindset, pushing for team and personal excellence
