ABOUT THE ROLE - Senior Mechanical Engineer Disposables

We are seeking an expert in disposable medical device design to develop ENvue’s feeding tubes, guidewires, and connected accessories. You will combine extrusion, molding, and embedded sensor integration to deliver precision and reliability at the bedside.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design enteral feeding tubes, guidewires, and catheter-based disposables.
• Specify extrusion processes, bonding methods, and biocompatible materials.
• Integrate sensors and conductors for navigation and signal transmission.
• Conduct bench testing for strength, flexibility, and durability.
• Partner with suppliers to optimize manufacturing yield and cost.
• Support validation, risk management, and verification activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• 6+ years experience in catheter, guidewire, or extrusion-based medical products.
• Proficiency in CAD and mechanical testing techniques.
• Proven record integrating sensors or electrodes into flexible devices.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with EO sterilization, packaging, and validation.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA design control.
