ABOUT THE ROLE - Senior Mechanical Engineer System

We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to own the ENvue navigation system hardware, the core platform that enables safe, accurate tube placement. This is a hands-on role combining mechanical design, electronics integration, and usability for clinical environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead system-level mechanical design for ENvue consoles, enclosures, and assemblies.
• Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Integrate PCBs, sensors, cabling, and shielding into the mechanical design.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, and clinical teams to ensure ergonomic usability.
• Manage prototype builds, testing fixtures, and DFM for molded and machined parts.
• Drive verification testing, documentation, and traceability under FDA regulations. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years experience in electro-mechanical medical devices or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of mechanisms, tolerancing, and CAD best practices.
• Experience with DFM for injection molding, CNC machining, and assembly. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience integrating electronics and sensors into compact medical housings.
• Familiarity with IEC 60601 and usability design.
