Data analyst - energy revenue

Areas of Responsibility:

·        Own revenue analytics for a portfolio of renewables and storage (solar /BESS; merchant, PPA, short-term and medium-term hedges).

·        Build and run short- to long-term revenue forecasts at asset and portfolio levels; quantify uncertainty and tail risks.

·        Produce daily/weekly/monthly P&L with driver analysis (price, volume, availability, losses, penalties).

·        Create and maintain dashboards (commercial KPIs, availability, degradation, round-trip efficiency, cycling limits).

·        Partner with Trading/Origination on deal assessment (PPA, toll, CfD, merchant exposure); run scenario/sensitivity models.

·        Track regulatory changes across key energy markets and quantify revenue impact.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s (Master’s a plus) in Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Applied Math, or Energy Systems, or other related fields

·        Analyst (2–4 yrs): energy markets or financial/data analytics; proven revenue/settlements experience in an IPP, utility, trader – preferred.

·        Excel (advanced) incl. Power Query/Pivot; comfort with large dataset;

·        SQL or Python – big advantage

·        Power BI or Tableau (build portfolio dashboards).
