Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Duration: 6 months( with potential to extend)

Shift Saturday- Wednesday 7-430 PM EST

Location: Oxford OH 45056

Pay Rate: $40-50/Hour on W2

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Manufacturing / Process Engineer to help improve our production systems, enhance quality, and support new product launches. If you’re passionate about process design, problem solving, and working directly with operations to drive meaningful improvements, this is the role for you.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and workflows using AutoCAD (2024), CREO, or SolidWorks
• Perform time studies, develop work instructions, and define standard work processes
• Support daily production needs & lead root-cause problem solving using PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, and SAP
• Collaborate with operators and cross-functional teams to identify improvements and implement solutions
• Support new product development (NPD/NPI) with conceptual layouts, cost estimates, and manufacturability input
• Design or specify tooling, fixtures, and equipment; develop CAPEX proposals
• Lead initiatives to improve safety, ergonomics, material handling, and overall line performance
• Serve as a key technical resource for manufacturing operations and continuous improvement projects

🧠 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ME preferred; IE/EE/Supply/Other accepted)
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong skills in AutoCAD/CREO/SolidWorks
• Experience with process definition, line architecture, and industrial processes
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, and SAP
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management abilities
• Ability to lead problem-solving and improvement initiatives on the production floor
