What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a skilled ML Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Protections Engine that powers our Generative AI Security platform. This includes working on our Classification Engine with NER and pattern-based classifiers —enabling real-time, adaptive security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing end to end data projects, as well as a solid understanding of security best practices for endpoint clients.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and optimize a hybrid classification engine that combines rule-based (regex) and NLP models to accurately classify entities.
• Enhance and maintain Named Entity Recognition (NER) models to extract structured information from text and improve classification accuracy.
• Work closely with data engineers and domain experts to analyze existing regex classifiers, identify coverage gaps, and design ML-driven solutions.
• Develop data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment, ensuring scalability and reliability in production environments.
• Optimize existing data workflows and troubleshoot issues to enhance performance, latency and reliability.
• Lead end-to-end data projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data engineering practices.
  
  

• 5+ years of proven experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with NER-based and Regex-based classification
• Experience with Data/ML related projects
• Experience with use of GenAI in production - Advantage
• Experience with Rust or Golang - Advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment

• Study Funds- SentinelOne contributes 7.5% over your base salary (no tax ceiling is applied), and employees contribute 2.5% of their base salary
