As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll plan, design, and lead manual tests, validate functionality and performance, and ensure top-quality software. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced, and regulated environment, collaborating closely with R&D and product teams to deliver advanced software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and system updates.
- Validate functionality, usability, and performance of medical imaging software in pre-production and production-like environments.
- Document test plans, results (STD/STR), defects, and reproducible steps using the defect tracking system (e.g., Azure Devops).
- Perform regression, integration, and system-level testing.
- Verify compliance with medical device standards (such as IEC 62304) and internal quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with R&D, product and other teams to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
- Support verification activities for software releases, including test reports and traceability matrices.
- Participate in release readiness reviews and provide quality sign-off.
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Biomedical Science
- 3+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Previous experience in medical devices, multidisciplinary and regulated companies – mandatory
- Familiarity with PACS, DICOM, or other medical imaging standards.
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques) STD/STR) and defect reporting best practices.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux OS.
- Proficiency in C# programming language
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Proven technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
