Product Marketing Director

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Director to join our talented Marketing team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive the success of our product. You will be responsible for understanding market trends, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead and implement effective product marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities.
  
  

• Develop product positioning, messaging, and marketing content that demonstrates clear differentiation compared to competitors.
• Collaborate with product management to define on-going product positioning, and provide inputs on the roadmap.
  
  

• Create and implement effective go-to-market plans for new product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing team, to ensure seamless execution.
  
  

• Create compelling marketing collateral, including product presentations, case studies, whitepapers, videos, competitor product analysis.
  
  

• Provide sales teams with the tools, training, and resources needed to effectively communicate product value propositions.
• Collaborate with sales to gather feedback and insights to continuously refine marketing messaging.
  
  

• Curate content involves selecting and organizing information that is relevant and valuable to the target audience. This could include product guides, FAQs, tutorials, troubleshooting tips, and other resources.
• Utilize analytic tools to track performance and analyze users’ behaviors.
  
  

• Strong technical aptitude: intellectual curiosity with the desire and ability to understand technical concepts, often connecting dots or piecing together thoughts based on incomplete information.
• Technical credibility: proven ability to establish credibility with product management, technical pre-sales, and other technical audiences.
• Compelling storyteller: ability to create product stories that resonate with and win over diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to distill and articulate concepts to a broad range of audiences.
• Organizational execution: work with multiple internal stakeholders including marketing, sales, and product with different and sometimes competing priorities.
• Self-starter: ability to set priorities, identify any needed support, and identify solutions based on the aligned strategy or other initiatives
• Situational fluency: ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations.

• Enterprise software experience, working at B2B technology or SaaS companies selling into large enterprises, with a multi-product portfolio or a platform.
• 7-10 years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of success.
• Native English speaker
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, IT or business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Telecom experience is a bonus!
