Hundreds of millions rely on Viber every day for messaging and calls. We're building the super-app layer on top of that foundation: Payments, eSIM, Viber Plus, and a growing SMB ecosystem.

As Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will own go-to-market of one or more of Viber's consumer offerings: core communication, monetization products (eSIM, Viber Plus), strategic commercial partnerships and more - defining how each is positioned, launched, and grown globally.

This is a builder role: set strategy, run the plays, deliver results - and grow the function as you go. The right candidate wins through precision and creativity, leveraging Viber’s massive audience and existing marketing channels, not by mass media spend.

Success in the role:

• Build a product marketing engine that serves both consumers and businesses 
• Drive measurable user growth through Viber's strategic product partnerships - building the go-to-market strategy from the ground up and delivering impact
• Become the go-to strategic partner for internal teams when bringing new capabilities to market

Product Positioning & Messaging

• Define product positioning, messaging frameworks and value propositions for each product and audience segment
• Build narratives that resonate globally and adapt locally - ensuring Viber's product story lands across diverse markets and cultures
• Define messaging strategies that meet users at the right moment - from first impression through activation, engagement, and monetization
• Translate product roadmap milestones into compelling launch plans and audience-relevant narratives

Product Go-to-Market & Growth

• Own marketing strategy for Viber's core communication experience - messaging and calls - ensuring it remains the daily habit for hundreds of millions of users
• Lead go-to-market for strategic commercial partnerships that drive tangible user growth and expand Viber's super-app value proposition
• Develop go-to-market plans for monetization products (i.e. eSIM, Viber Plus subscription) from positioning to conversion
• Partner with Product and Business to identify and activate growth levers across the full consumer product funnel

Cross-functional Leadership

• Own product marketing end-to-end - from strategy through execution - accountable for outcomes, not just plans
• Build and drive go-to-market processes in close partnership with Product, R&D, Regional Marketing, CRM, and Creative
• Provide strategic direction and hands-on support to regional marketing leads on product-specific initiatives

• 6+ years of experience in product marketing
• Proven track record in B2C consumer apps with a global footprint - this is a must
• Deep understanding of what drives user acquisition, engagement, and retention in consumer products - without relying on mass brand spend or massive UA budgets
• Data-driven - comfortable defining KPIs, reading funnel and retention metrics, and using data to inform positioning and launch decisions
• Exceptional storytelling and positioning skills - you can make complex products feel clear and desirable
• Strong execution instincts - strategy is the starting point, not the finish line
• Experience working cross-functionally in global, matrixed organizations, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures
• Excellent written and spoken English
