Director of Information Technology

We are recruiting an experienced IT Director for a well-established, global organization operating in complex, multi-site environments. This role will lead all aspects of IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation, with a strong mandate to modernize legacy systems and build a secure, scalable, and business-aligned IT landscape.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic planning with practical execution, offering high visibility and direct impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the IT strategy in alignment with business and operational goals
• Manage and continuously improve IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cybersecurity, ERP, and business applications
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring system stability, availability, and security across multiple sites
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, automation, and process optimization
• Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies (cloud platforms, data systems, collaboration tools, etc.)
• Partner closely with senior leadership to build and execute a digital roadmap
• Manage external vendors, service providers, and system integrators
• Establish IT governance, data protection standards, and business continuity practices
• Build and mentor a small internal IT team

Qualifications:

• 7–12+ years of experience in IT management or senior IT leadership roles
• Proven experience modernizing legacy IT environments and leading transformation projects
• Strong technical background across infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP/CRM, and cloud technologies
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s – advantage)
