Financial Controller

We’re looking for a Controller to join a leading accounting firm, in a unique role that combines controllership and advisory work, working with global companies operating in Israel, and managing a professional accounting department.

What the role includes

• Leading the global controllership function and handling day-to-day work for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Managing and overseeing the department’s operations
• Supporting international companies that don’t have finance staff in Israel
• Direct client interaction — this is a very customer-facing role
• Preparing controllership reports, audit reports, and monthly financial reporting
• Driving processes, improving service, and initiating new projects
• Opportunity to expand the global practice and build additional service lines

What we’re looking for

• Certified CPA
• Approximately 3 years of experience as a Controller / Assistant Controller – required
• Strong bookkeeping knowledge and the ability to lead controllership processes
• Management experience: team leadership / client management / ongoing operations – required
• Very strong English (spoken and written)
• Experience working with international clients – an advantage
• Advantage for candidates coming from controllership practices
• Strong Excel skills
• Independent, proactive, and hands-on approach
