Compliance Specialist

we’re looking for a Compliance Specialist to take ownership of our regulatory and scheme compliance functions.

In this role, you’ll be the focal point for all compliance matters - both with the Israel Securities Authority (ISA) and Mastercard - ensuring that our company operates in full alignment with all legal, financial, and scheme requirements.

The position is part of the Financial Operations team, reporting directly to the department’s management and collaborating closely with internal finance and operations functions.

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the company’s compliance programs for both Payments regulation and Mastercard issuer obligations.

Ongoing reporting and close collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer of Altshuler Shaham Investment House, ensuring full alignment with group compliance standards and regulatory expectations.

Handle regulatory reporting and ongoing communication with the ISA.

Oversee compliance processes related to QMR, SAFE, and SAR for Mastercard.

Collaborate with our financial operations team, working closely with ecosystem partners such as the scheme, processor, and gateway.

Serve as the company’s point of contact for compliance with Mastercard account managers and other compliance officers from the ecosystem.

Ensure our innovative payment products are built in full compliance with regulations — connecting product, technology, and regulation in one dynamic role.

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in compliance or regulatory roles.

Proven experience in working with the Israel Securities Authority, including periodic reporting and deep familiarity with ISA requirements.

Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem – mandatory.

Previous work with the Mastercard scheme – strong advantage.

Excellent English (written and spoken) – a must, as most partners and suppliers are international.

High level of accountability and self-management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

Familiarity with foreign exchange (FX) – an advantage.
