The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Frontend Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing our DataOps platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building, standardizing, and solving complex UI challenges. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, helping to bring new features to life while ensuring the performance and scalability of our platform. What You'll Do

• Design & Develop: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable code for Matia’s DataOps platform, ensuring a high performant, scalable, and clean UI.
• Lead Features: Take ownership in leading the development of features, from components to end-to-end user flows, from conception to completion, with minimal oversight.
• Drive Improvement: Champion continuous improvement efforts to ensure our systems are adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments.
• Collaborate: Work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, etc.) to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  
  

• Experience: 2-4 years of vast hands-on Frontend development experience, focused on building large complex platforms.
• Proven exceptional proficiency in TypeScript and React is a MUST.
• Experience with technologies such as react-router-dom, @tanstack, react-hook-form, zustand.
• Proven experience with converting layout and designs (Figma) to HTML/CSS.
• Designing and building scalable and resilient components and design systems.
  
  

• A strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills with fellow developers, designers, and product.
• Experience with data-tool domains (e.g., ETL, Reverse ETL, Observability, Catalog).
• Experience with the following technologies: Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB.
